As y’all know we live in San Antonio, Texas and when we moved here I was super-excited to find out that Six Flags, Fiesta Texas was just a short 15 minute drive from our home. Now, between you and me, we had yet to visit because I was unsure there was anything for the little ones to do. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The park, though packed with many adult coasters, there was a huge assortment of coasters and rides that my little ones could do.
Here is how our day went. First of all, we did not tell the kids where we were going, but their excitement grew as soon as they looked over the side of La Cantera Parkway to see the amusement park below.
I purchased my parking pass online, so we had hardly any wait at the gate and parked pretty close… with just a very short walk.
From first look we saw nothing but coasters and the kids were ready!
We posed for photos and then walked in, where the kids looked closely at the map to decide where to go first.
We walked from ride to ride and area to area and everyone had a blast.
All in all, we had a blast… I loved, loved, loved how kid-friendly the park was and even Hubby had a blast! I was sad that the Iron Rattler and the Scooby Ride were down for maintenance, so we didn’t get a chance to ride it. Oh and now that we know that the water park is included in the ticket price we will be sure to visit more often next summer… plus, after seeing just a glimpse of what Fright Fest will be, I definitely want to check it out.
