Disclosure: I received complimentary admission but as usual, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
After the excitement and the time I spent touring San Antonio during my stay I knew I needed some downtime to catch my breath and relax. By then end of my trip I was hot, I was tired, and I was just about all fun-ed out--that is, until I saw my where next destination was going to be. Picture if you will, putting a tall ice cold glass of water in front of a parched woman on a scorching summers day: the tall ice cold glass of water being Schlitterbahn Waterpark & Resort in New Braunsfels, Texas. #BayouTravel Tip: Free Parking and Yes, you can bring ice coolers. There is plenty of seating (I have never seen so many picnic tables near all pool activities) and tables that you can utilize to save your family money. Bring an ice cooler with wheels so you can go from one side of the park to the next. Being able to bring your own beverages, snacks and lunches will ensure you get the most out of your ticket fees.
